Job Description
About the Work Unit:
The Office of Health Sciences Education (OHSE) administers degree programs of the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. The dedicated staff in OHSE work to provide a range of support including academic program administration, educational design and informatics, financial and administrative oversight, and student services. Our mission is to educate diverse, socially and culturally accountable future health-related professions leaders. Our students gain the knowledge, skills, and attitudes they will need to practice safe, effective, ethical, evidence-based, and patient/client-centered health care. They are prepared to work toward larger systemic changes, understand social determinants of health, and promote equity and justice within their local and global communities.
Key Functions and Expected Performance:
- Supports existing evaluation reporting processes by building and executing assigned course evaluations through Qualtrics and generating and distributing data-driven reports.
- Assists with the planned migration of course evaluations from Qualtrics to REDCap by building assigned evaluation surveys in REDCap and engaging in edits as part of the iterative design process.
- Assists in archiving evaluation data from the Qualtrics platform.
- Other duties as assigned, including projects as time and interests allow.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma is necessary.
- A Bachelorââ¬â¢s degree from an accredited institution of higher education, or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
- At least one year of work experience, preferably in an academic setting, is preferred.
- Experience with Qualtrics is preferred.
- Experience with REDCap is required.
- Established computer skills, specifically basic functions of Microsoft Excel and Adobe, are necessary.
- Demonstrated organizational skills (planning, tracking, and/or experience using tools to keep track of work) are preferred.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet deadlines are essential.
